This is the work of Bobbi Essers; currently based in Groningen, the Netherlands. Her work is based on digital photographs she takes from personal encounters with her close friends, and portrays the close-up details of those she holds dear to her in a magnetic and earnest way. In this way, she is able to present queerness and friendship through a lens that is personal and authentic.

In collaboration with Bobbi, we have produced an Art Fix limited edition of two of her works: ‘Voracious’ and ‘00s Party’ – you can find more information on these on the ‘Editions’ page.
