ART FIX -THE NEW WAY OF LEARNING

Interview With Sara Berman

In 2012, Sara Berman swapped a burgeoning fashion career to go back to school and become a painter. Inspired by artists like Alice Neel and Helen Frankenthaler, she's a true maximalist, collecting vintage linen sheeting from schools and hospitals to use in her paintings.

Her works show Berman’s fascination with the female body. “I want to climb inside the work and figure it from the inside out. I’m an archeologist!”

Climb inside the world of Sara Berman in our latest interview, where we discuss Berman’s playlists, her sources of inspiration, her greatest indulgences, and why she’s committed to portraying females in strong, daring poses.
