Gonzalo Cienfuegos, wine by Viña Vik

Art meets wine: that sounds like our kind of heaven! This Chilean winery invited dozens of international artists to create works that could be “painted” onto a wine bottle. “La Piu Belle” by Gonzalo Cienfuegos, a Chilean painter, is the most beautiful. A Cabernet Sauvignon blend with Carmenère and other red grapes.

Louise Bourgeois, Spirals Teacup & Saucer

If we could, we’d buy Louise Bourgeois-everything, but these spirals and teacup saucers will do (for now). They will add an artful twist to your daily cup of tea this winter.

Each coaster represents an important historical woman: Hypatia, Sappho, Primordial Goddess and Isabella d’Este. Talk about finding the perfect gift!

Yayoi Kusama, Soft Pumpkin Sculpture

You’re probably used to seeing pumpkins in museums and exhibition halls, but what if you could bring it into a special someone’s home? This is undoubtedly an ideal gift for all Kusama fans out there. These pumpkin-shaped soft sculptures are made of parachute nylon, a strong and long lasting material. A meaningful and unique gift that will last forever.

Andy Warhol, Soup Can Vase

This handmade colorful porcelain vase is a great way to add a little bit of color to the lives of pop art lovers.

Kehinde Wiley, Porcelain Plate

This plate series by Kehinde Wiley, the artist behind Obama’s official presidential portrait, is just what we needed to step up our art game! Also a great gift for the Art Fixers who saw his exhibition in Cannes this Summer. Both decorative and functional, this stamped signature open edition has holes for hanging and is dishwasher safe. Amazing, right?

Keith Haring, Perfumed Candle

Remember graffiti artist Keith Haring from our first episode: “The City Is My Canvas”? Ligne Blanche offers a range of candles with Haring’s iconic illustrations that will add a touch of pop art to your home.

Yayoi Kusama, Veuve Clicquot Champagne

What do you get when you cross the world’s best champagne with the world’s coolest artist? Meet Veuve Clicquot’s La Grande Dame, Yayoi Kusama edition. Note the polka-dot décor, her signature style, is reworked like champagne bubbles. Didier Mariotti, the house’s Cellar Master, describes it as “playful, lively, laughing”. We’ll drink to that!

Mickalene Thomas, Pillow (Cover Only)

Dark days and grey skies getting you and your friends down? Gift this electric pillow cover, a stunning reproduction of Clarivel Centered, a work by Mickalene Thomas, an artist engrossed by depicting different versions of black female beauty in her work.

Bella Freud, Art Candle

The Bella Freud Art Candle is not just any candle. Its scent reminds us of our happy place: an art studio! Notes of Palmarosa, Cedar and Lilacs capture the smell of oil paint, old wood, and paint brushes. Perfect for a December or January evening.

David Shrigley, Be Nice Tea Towel

Making a comeback from Episode 6 on Humor in Art, David Shrigley is back this holiday season with a cheerful Be Nice tea towel. This kitchen staple is a reproduction of an iconic piece that has been turned into a functional product. The best way to add an artful twist to an art lover’s kitchen!

Alex Katz

Alex Katz’s collection of brightly colored figurative paintings is a great addition to any art enthusiast’s coffee table. This spectacular hardcover book contains more than 300 images by Katz, many of which had been previously unpublished. The author, art critic Carter Ratcliff, who studied Katz’s work for more than five decades, traces the development of the artist’s unique American style. A style that has an illusive appearance of simplicity that is extremely hard to achieve. “I like to make an image that is so simple you can’t avoid it, and so complicated you can’t figure it out”, said Katz. A must-have for any art lover this holiday season!

Virgil Abloh, OFF-WHITE Hoody Blurred Mona Lisa

Andy Warhol, Eau de Toilette, You’re In

Harry Markusse, Untitled & Printbox edition, 2019

Add a splash of color to someone’s life by giving them one of Harry Markusse’s minimalistic pieces.

Hans Op de Beeck, Sleeping Dog, 2019

We love this “Sleeping Dog” on a box coated with Jesmonite sculpture. Hans Op de Beeck is a Belgian artist who has exhibited internationally for twenty years. The soft toned concrete-like material of the sculpture refers to Pompeii, where figures in everyday actions were frozen over time. The simple and everyday scene of a sleeping dog speaks of the calm and tranquility of the passing of time. This box is perfect to gift someone who loves keeping their special letters, pens, or other treasures safe!

JR, Picnic across the border, Mexico – U.S.A, 2017

Looking for a gift for someone with a little too much white wall space? This skateboard is a different (and very cool) way to display art. The piece itself is inspired by JR’s work on the Mexican-US border. If you haven’t yet, check out our first episode to learn more about this inspiring work!
