Officially unveiled at PAN Amsterdam on 4 November, the series is now available for reservation at a special pre-production price of €1,950. As the bees take their winter rest, production will start in spring. Once the sculptures are ready to reveal their golden geometry, the price will rise to €2,450.

Written into form by nature itself, this co-created sculpture by Tomáš Libertíny and his colony of bees manifests the intelligence of collective creation. Each work is individually built – never replicated – by thousands of tiny collaborators, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
The sculpture takes the shape of a dodecahedron, a twelve-sided geometric form. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s 1498 drawing of a dodecahedron for De Divina Proportione, this sculpture brings his vision of mathematical beauty into the present day. Encased in clear plexiglas, its golden honeycomb surface reveals a dialogue between perfect geometry and the unpredictable rhythms of nature.
Layer by layer, each cell becomes part of an intricate, resonant whole – precision guided by instinct, design shaped through collaboration between the artist and his colony. This sculpture celebrates coexistence and co-creation: every contribution essential, every pattern unique.
