For the fourth High Line Plinth commission, Argote presents Dinosaur, a massive, hyper-realistic, hand-painted aluminium pigeon that humorously challenges traditional monuments by elevating the everyday New York City bird to heroic status, towering 21 feet above 10th Avenue and reversing the usual power dynamic between bird and human.

Rosana Paulino | The High Line       

For the adjacent wall at 22nd Street High Line Art invited Rosana Paulino to create a brand new mural. Titled The Creation of the Creatures of Day and Night, the artwork continues Paulino’s mangrove series. This series features tree-women as mythological figures and symbols of Brazil’s natural environment.
